Required for September 2018, we welcome applications to this  key post from exceptional, self-motivated colleagues with the  relevant energy, experience and passion for teaching Science across the age  and ability range from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational colleague to the position of Head of Science. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Science teacher to take responsibility for leading our high performing Science department.  They will be expected to provide professional leadership in the department in the delivery of Science teaching from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 and to ensure that robust procedures are in place to monitor the quality of teaching and learning outcomes throughout the department.  

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge.  They will be able to demonstrate a high degree of commitment to effective teaching and have the ability to support students of all ages in developing their understanding and enjoyment of the subject. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn. The person appointed will also demonstrate a willingness to participate fully in the wider life of the School.
