This is an exciting opportunity lead the continuing development of an outstanding Science and Sport Department in one of the country’s leading sixth form colleges, where results are outstanding, learning is the focus and excellence is the expectation.

As Head of Department, you will teach one of the current courses offered by the Department as well as manage teachers and staff. The Department has A-Level courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Sport as well as Level 3 BTECs in Science (doubles and singles) and Sport & PE (double only). In total there are 476 students in the Department. Performance across all courses is strong and there exists a supportive and ambitious culture.
