About the role:
We have an opportunity for either an experienced Head of Department or an ambitious Science Teacher looking for the next stage in their career to join our rapidly improving school at an exciting time and play a key role in developing the Science curriculum.
As Head of Science you will be a driven, dedicated Head of Department who will engage, enthuse and challenge both staff and students to achieve their best in both teaching and learning. You will make a major contribution to lead the direction of an already improving Science Department, taking an active role in raising standards at all levels. You will also develop the quality of data of Science performance to ensure that it is accurate and appropriate to facilitate targeted intervention.
We’re looking for someone who shares our values and ethos and is committed to students' learning whilst also having the ability to develop the subject at both a school and group level. The ideal candidate must have a clear focus, sense of direction and a passion for their subject.
