We are recruiting for the position of:

Salary:  MPS + TLR

We are looking to appoint a Head of Science to join our team in April 2022. 

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and experienced teacher with a passion for ensuring that every student regardless of starting point can achieve success, enjoy school and be engaged with wider school life, to become the best that they can be. The candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate impact as an experienced Science teacher.

The successful candidate will build on current developments within the department, school and Trust to improve outcomes and raise aspirations for all students.

Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy (LECA) is a new, state-of-the-art Secondary school primarily serving the popular and thriving village of Littleport, Cambridgeshire. It opened in September 2017 with a cohort of 84 Year 7 students and will grow year on year until it reaches capacity of 600 in 2022.

For interested candidates considering relocation to Littleport, we are on the main train line whilst sitting in the heart of the beautiful, rural heart of the Fens.  Littleport has access to the beautiful Norfolk coast, historic Ely and the vibrant city of Cambridge, making it a great choice for candidates looking for a balance of city/country living.
