We are looking for an innovative teacher to lead the Science Department at our school. This is an exciting opportunity to join our school which has undergone a transformational change in the last year.

As a passionate Science teacher, you will have the energy and commitment to help drive the development and implementation of new educational initiatives whilst ensuring the highest standards. In return, we will support and encourage you to develop your skills as a middle leader. Applicants keen to develop senior leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

As our name implies, the school lies at the heart of its community: Belmont is a leafy suburb on the outskirts of Durham City.  As a result of high expectations, enthusiastic teaching and very positive relationships, students enjoy school and want to do well.

Belmont Community School is a popular and successful school for students aged 11-16.  It is situated on a spacious green campus site in a leafy eastern suburb of Durham City.
