  • Have you experience of successfully leading initiatives in science that have had an impact on students’ progress?

Our Head of Science position is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with some experience of holding a responsibility within his/her current science department. This is a major role within the school and will provide the successful candidate with a superb platform for promotion to senior leadership.

The person appointed will have a commitment to continuing professional development and be able to teach a science up to and including A-level. The science department consists of 11 teachers who are committed to high achievement for all. It is supported by a team of 7 technicians and enjoys good facilities. GCSE results have usually been at least in line with the national figure.
