This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic school where all can thrive and staff are highly valued.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic leader of our Science Faculty for September 2020. The successful candidate must have a clear vision of how the teaching of science should develop over the next few years and have the passion and expertise to create a curriculum that inspires our students.
The faculty is housed in six laboratories and is taught by five full time staff and three part-time staff and supported by two highly effective technicians. The Head of Faculty is also supported by a Second in Science who is currently responsible for Key Stage 3 science.
The successful candidate will be joining a faculty which has high expectations of the students they teach. The faculty are focussed on and determined to build on recent developments to ensure that outcomes for students accelerate and rise year-on-year. An ability to work well in a team and demonstrate an innovative and inspirational approach to teaching and learning is essential.
