Are you an ambitious, outstanding practitioner with the qualities and skills to take Science forward in our school? We are looking for an experienced candidate able to take up this challenge and lead a newly formed team from September. You will be expected to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a faculty that has achieved excellent results in the past. You will have high expectations of self and pupils, offer inspirational and innovative teaching and be committed to raising pupils’ achievement and progress. This post would suit a candidate looking for their first middle leadership role. There is also an opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate to be considered for additional whole school responsibilities working with the Senior Team.

Test Valley School is a small 11-16 secondary school on the outskirts of Stockbridge (one of the “best places to live” in The Sunday Times again). Our rural location adds a unique dimension to school life and our links across the community. It is also an easy commute from Winchester, Salisbury, Andover, Romsey and Southampton.

Test Valley School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 comprehensive secondary school, situated on the outskirts of Stockbridge in Hampshire. There are 551 pupils on the school roll.
At Test Valley School, which is a small secondary school, a wide variety of sporting, academic and expressive arts activities complement the formal curriculum. Facilities for PE include a new sports hall, large gymnasium, tennis courts, playing fields and a full-size open-air heated swimming pool.
