The school wishes to recruit a new Head of Science for September 2021 to help shape an exciting an innovative curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership post that is well supported and involves high levels of autonomy. It will also require working collaboratively with other Heads of Department to offer STEM projects across the school.
ROLE SPECIFICATION
The Head of Science will have academic and operational oversight for the Science curriculum across the whole school. They will promote a love for the subject throughout the school and ensure effective management of department resources, in order to provide the most efficient learning opportunities for the pupils. The Head of Science will report to the Assistant Head (Upper School) and the Headmaster.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful candidate for this challenging and rewarding position will have at least five years’ teaching experience in prep or primary schools. A university degree and teaching qualification from a recognised academic institution is essential.
