Head of Science required for a January, April or September 2023 start. TLR 1b - £10,203

We are looking for a Head of Science to lead and further develop a successful Science Department. Candidates should be well-qualified scientists who are able to teach one of the science disciplines up to A Level. Science is taught as an interdisciplinary subject in Key Stage 3, with teachers teaching their own specialisms in Key Stages 4 and 5. Established in 1549 by Royal Charter, Maidstone Grammar School is a selective school for boys, with girls admitted in the Sixth Form.
