We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Science to lead our successful and vibrant department. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a clear sense of purpose who will deliver consistently high quality lessons. Professional and with high expectations and aspirations for every pupil, you will be a committed, skilled and a knowledgeable practitioner with an unerring focus on continuous improvement.

Litcham is a small, popular and successful all-through school. Children enjoy their time with us and are very keen to learn. The school is growing rapidly and we were recently inspected by Ofsted who judged us to be good with areas of outstanding practice. Outcomes within Science at Key Stage 4 are outstanding, placing us amongst the highest performing schools nationally. As a leader of Science, you will play a pivotal role in the next stage of our development. You will receive high quality support and CPD and will be encouraged to develop enquiry and research that will improve future pedagogy across the school.

Litcham School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational all-through school situated in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. There are approximately 640 students at the school, between the ages of 4-16.   

Litcham School became all-through in 2012, forming together the local secondary and primary schools.

Litcham School holds the National Sportsmark Award and offers a wide range of extra-curricular sports clubs for pupils to get involved in. It also has strong links with the West Norfolk Jubilee Yoth Orchestra and Concert Band and encourages children to learn a musical instrument during their time at the school.
