We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Head of Science. 

The successful candidate will lead our popular and flourishing Science Department, with a focus on innovation and sharing good practice. We aim to inspire our students and monitor progress thoroughly to ensure every student achieves their full potential.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach all sciences across Key Stages 3/4 and to teach within their specialism at Key Stage 5.They will be versatile in their use of teaching materials and have a current knowledge and recognition of best practice in the use of ICT in the classroom.

You will be joining a forward looking and dynamic team which is warm and friendly, but which has high expectations of everyone.

Arnold Hill Academy is a member of the Trent Academies Group, a small multi-academy trust, based in Nottingham. Our aim is to support schools and academies in providing outstanding education for their pupils. The Trust currently consists of Arnold Hill Academy, Arnold, The Farnborough Academy, Clifton and Rushcliffe School, West Bridgford. However, the trust will, subject to due diligence, merge with the Spencer Academies Trust from 1st September in order to give our staff the opportunity to broaden their range of skills and experience and bring benefits to our pupils and the whole education system.
