The science department have just moved into a brand new £6 million state of the art science block. With amazing facilities, a department of 7 full time specialists, outstanding results for the last 4 years and leading the Science Learning Partnership for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as well as being a lead school with the Institute of Physics teacher support programme this is an amazing opportunity for someone to lead the department moving forward as we settle into the new building and continue to expand. This will be an external appointment. 

The science department are a cohesive team who demand the best from each other and from their students. The right candidate would benefit from entering a supportive environment with a blend of skills, innovation and experience. We promote a positive Catholic ethos but there is no requirement to be Catholic to apply. The department’s track record in developing staff and achieving outcomes is second to none.
