With 870 pupils, aged from 3 to 13, Dulwich Prep London is the largest boys’ independent prep school in the UK. Located in the heart of Dulwich, the school is proud of its rich history of ‘inspiring excellence’ since 1885; today we are firmly focused on preparing our boys for an exciting future.
Science at the Prep is thriving; with state of the art laboratories and an observatory. The Science department has embraced digital technology in the classroom, becoming a paperless subject.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to work in this intellectually challenging and supportive department. A love of practical science is essential, as is the willingness to work with colleagues to continue to develop digital pedagogy.
The successful candidate will teach from Year 5 to Year 8, including CE and Scholarship and will be expected to involve themselves in the extra-curricular life of the Prep.

About Dulwich Prep London

This long-established and well-known preparatory school educates boys aged 3 to 13 (girls 3 to 4), preparing them for entrance and scholarship examinations to independent London day schools and boarding schools across the country. Re-branded in 2011, the school aims to challenge boys in their pursuit of excellence and to inspire each pupil to realise his full potential. Sport, Music and Art are encouraged to a high standard. There are many out-of-school activities, including a wide variety of holiday trips.
The main ages for entry are at three, four and seven years, with smaller entries at five and eight. There are occasional vacancies at other ages.
