St. Gregory’s Catholic High School is the highest performing school in Warrington for pupil progress measures and the most improved High School in the Liverpool Archdiocese. We are currently ranked in the top 18% of schools nationally for performance.
You would be leading an effective, dynamic team of subject specialists who strive to provide the best learning experience for pupils through high expectations, inspirational teaching and personalised support. Achievement in the department is outstanding and GCSE results are significantly above national in all areas.
The department consists of 7 full-time and 1 part-time teacher of Science, and one technician. Science teaching takes place in six large laboratories which are well resourced and from September 2018 we will have a further two additional specialist laboratories housed in our new building.
This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who has the experience and desire to successfully lead others and continue to raise standards across the department. The successful candidate will be passionate about science and will be personally driven to ensure that every child achieves and makes good progress.
This is also an exciting opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop their career to senior management level in a welcoming, ambitious and supportive school with a dedicated team of teachers and a wonderful cohort of students.
