As we are currently experiencing rapid growth in enrollment, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to join our Secondary team. The ideal candidate would have a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is ready to progress their career into a leadership position. We are looking for someone who is between 30 and 45 who has demonstrable commitment to outstanding results and the ability to lead, inspire and motivate others.

Role Description:

The Head of Secondary is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the school and is accountable to the Principal for delivering the highest standard of education and pastoral care. HoS is a member of the whole school leadership team and will be expected to work closely with the Principal and Head of Primary to contribute to the ongoing strategic development of Eaton.

Main duties:

  • Strategic leadership and resourcing
  • Leadership of the curriculum, teaching and learning
  • Promote and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Set and communicate high expectations of the quality of teaching and assessment throughout the Secondary school
  • Implement and develop schemes and policies to improve the teaching and learning at Eaton
  • Have the desire to work in a forward thinking international school
  • Be creative, determined, enthusiastic and resilient
    Role requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in Secondary leadership eg. a Key Stage Leader
  • Educational expertise and a proven track record of developing and sustaining the highest academic standards
  • Energetic and able to work flexible hours outside of the regular school day
  • A cultural understanding and ethos to lead staff and students in a diverse and collaborative environment
  • A belief in and a commitment to leading with emotional intelligence
  • Have experience of working in a challenging environment
