RAK Academy (Khuzam)
RAK Academy (Khuzam) provides both primary and secondary British and IB learning pathways from Pre-K to Grade 12 for 1300 international and local students. We are looking to appoint a talented and passionate Head of Secondary to lead our secondary school.
Secondary School
The school is centrally located in the beautiful and peaceful emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The British curriculum is offered from Grade 6 (Year 7) to Grade 12 (Year 13). All students study IGCSE courses in Grades 9 and 10 and then can opt to follow an A-level pathway or the International Baccalaureate Pathway in Grades 11 and 12. Students also study additional subjects as stipulated by the Ministry of Education (MOE). RAK Academy is accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO) and International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).
The Role
The Board of RAK Academy is seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Secondary to lead the RAK Academy (Khuzam) Secondary School from August 2023. The Head of Secondary will be expected to provide professional, highly effective leadership and management that will achieve outstanding results in all aspects of the school. The successful candidate will promote an inspiring vision and clear direction that is shared by all members of the school and the Senior Leadership Team. Ultimately, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that the curriculum, teaching, and assessment practices inspire high levels of engagement, achievement and progress for students of all abilities.
Remuneration Package
