The British International School of Jeddah is a private community school licensed by the Ministry of Education. We are a not for profit organisation governed by a Board of Trustees. Our school caters for children from years K-13 and has in excess of 1,500 students from over 60 countries. The Secondary Section has some 640 students from Y7 to Y13. The curriculum in Secondary leads to IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11 and then the International Baccalaureate for Years 12 and 13.
The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and British Schools in the Middle East (BSME). Additionally we are authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and are a centre for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
Working with Executive Leadership Team comprising the Director, Head of Primary and the Business Manager, the Head of Secondary will lead the development of the Secondary Section and will contribute to school-wide strategic planning.
