St. Stephen’s International School, Bangkok campus, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic Head of Secondary at our Bangkok Campus for August 2017.

The Head of Secondary reports to the Principal and is responsible for all matters in the Secondary school. The successful applicant will join a school leadership team which includes the Principal, School Director, Head of Primary and Head of Campus (Khao Yai).

It is essential for applicants to:

a)    Be experienced in a British curriculum school
b)   Have leadership experience in a similar environment
c)    Be appropriately qualified (e.g.  BEd or a first degree and a PGCE)
d)    Provide three professional referees, one of whom must be their current Principal

It is desirable for applicants to have experience of:

a)    Working in the international sector
b)    Working with children for whom English is not their first language
c)    Working with children and parents whose cultural background is different from their own

St. Stephen’s Bangkok is located in the mid northern suburbs of the vibrant city of Bangkok, about mid-way between the city centre and Don Muang Airport, in the Ratchayothin area of Chatuchak district. The school caters for all ages from Nursery to Year 13 and is two form entry. Currently there are a total of 460 students enrolled, 200 in Secondary.

The successful applicant will, initially, be offered a two year contract which will include:

  • A competitive salary commensurate with the size of school
