We are seeking an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic person to take on the post of Head of Senior Boys’ Boarding House (approx. 45 boys, aged 14-18). Teaching experience would be an advantage, and the successfull candidate will be willing to contribute to the school's full co-curricular Boarding programme. Cranbrook received an 'Outstanding' rating in its 2018 Boarding Inspection and the most recent school inspection (2015).
Salary for teaching will be main scale/UPS depending on experience, and there is a boarding allowance of £10,123, and remission periods equivalent to one day a week. The post comes with excellent four-bedroom family accommodation.
Although it is a selective school, Cranbrook admits a wider ability range than many other grammar schools. A challenging curriculum is provided for the academic high flyers, while the value added scores that are achieved each year bear testimony to the success of the school’s wider provision.
For full details, please see our Information Pack. Fully completed appliation forms should be supported by a statement (approx. an A4 side) outlining previous relevant experience and what you can bring to Cranbrook School.
Applications are welcome by Monday 15 October, and interviews will be held in the week commencing Monday 5 November.
