Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Head of Sociology to lead a very successful and hardworking team as part of our newly formed Social Sciences faculty.
The faculty is responsible for teaching History, Geography, Religious Studies, Health and Social Care, Extended Project Qualification, Psychology and Sociology. Religious Studies is a compulsory GCSE subject for all students. You would be expected to teach Sociology along with either Health and Social Care, Religious Studies or Psychology.
Edmonton County School is looking for an inspirational leader who motivates pupils and staff alike to always strive to do their best and continue the development work needed with the GCSEs and A Level courses. We aim to recruit a committed and ambitious professional who is keen to develop their talents and leadership experience to lead within this large faculty. About Edmonton County School
Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
