The Role

Wetherby Kensington are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic sports teacher to lead the teaching of Physical Education and Games from either April 2023 or September 2023.  

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sports teacher with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills. Applicants will lead an innovative, forward-thinking and committed sports department, which has one other part time sports coach as part of it. Experience of teaching football, rugby, cricket and swimming is desirable. The school has traditionally had a strong sporting reputation, and it is important that this is developed and built upon.

The School

Wetherby Kensington is a two form, non-selective, pre-preparatory school for boys from Reception to Year 3. It follows exactly the same curriculum and shares the same values and ethos as Wetherby School and is an integral part of the Wetherby Group of schools. Boys at Wetherby Kensington receive very high levels of academic education and pastoral care. Wetherby Kensington is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country’s leading educational groups.
