Haileybury are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed violinist to teach, lead and develop the Strings department.

The post holder will be an inspirational and committed individual who would help to foster the strong musical tradition of the School. Teachers who pursue successful performance careers alongside their teaching are especially encouraged to apply. It is expected that the successful candidate will be willing to contribute fully to the busy programme of ensembles and concerts within the School.

The post involves one day of teaching and an additional 16 hours per week, term-time for duties as Head of Strings. The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and there may be a requirement for the jobholder to work reasonable additional hours and early mornings, evenings and weekends.
