About the Role: 

As the Head of Student Futures, you will be at the forefront of guiding our students towards success in their personal, academic, and professional endeavours. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and Head of Year 13, you will collaborate closely with fellow leaders to develop and implement innovative programs aimed at empowering our students to reach their full potential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for student futures, supporting the School’s drive on leadership development initiatives. 
• Design and implement programs to support students' personal, academic, and professional growth across all year levels. 
• Provide robust career support, including guidance on career exploration, job searches, and professional development. 
• Partner with academic departments to ensure students receive comprehensive academic guidance and support. 
• Foster connections with alumni, industry partners, and the wider community to create opportunities for student success. 
• Explore new approaches to prepare students for life beyond school, including micro-credential courses and leadership development opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (open to combining this position with a teaching role). 
• Experience in secondary or tertiary education, with a focus on student affairs or student development preferred. 
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strategic vision. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. 
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
