Smart Teachers in Melbourne is recruiting for a highly experienced and suitably qualified teacher to be responsible for student wellbeing across the school. Our client school is renowned for a long tradition of academic excellence and produces consistently outstanding student results. This is a full-time, minimum 12 month contract but for the right candidate there is the strong possibility that this could lead to a generous offer of permanent placement.

  • Collaborate with the school’s executive leadership staff
  • Oversee year 7 to 12 student wellbeing (KS3 – KS5 equivalent)

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a post-graduate qualification in Wellbeing/ Counselling
  • Have demonstrated leadership experience within a school setting
  • Be eligible to work in Australia (must have a visa)
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in education
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers
  • Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
  • Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
  • Possess and provide appropriate reference details and police clearances
