Enfield Grammar School
Head of/Teacher of Media
Main Pay Scale M1 – UPS3 (Outer London) + TLR 2a
(appropriate TLR would be available for the appropriate candidate)
Would you like to work at a school that has a prestigious past, a wonderful present and a beautiful future? Would you like to work at a school that was established 450 years ago with the responsibility of teaching poor children in the local area to read and write? Would you like to work at a school that has built upon this moral ethos, successfully educating and preparing boys for the world that awaits? If so, we’d like to meet you.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Head of Media to join the school’s successful and supportive English Department. Ideally you will be experienced in teaching Media across KS4 and 5, as numbers and results are strong. We are looking to recruit a leader who can build on the progress this department has already made over recent years. The ability to teach some KS3 English would be an advantage but is not essential.
We welcome applications from NQTs and a TLR is available for the appropriate candidate.
Enfield Grammar School is an 11-18, 6 form entry, boys’ comprehensive and is heavily oversubscribed every year.
