We have a new and exciting opportunity to appoint a Head of Technology at The Turing School. This would be the perfect career opportunity for an outstanding
As the Head of the Technology department, you will work with your team to develop classroom organisation and teaching methods. Ensuring that all students are making good or better progress through the consistent implementation of our Teaching and Learning policy. Providing regular positive feedback to your team, recognising good practice and supporting their progress.
In addition to the conditions laid out in the generic Job Description for teachers as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, you will:
- Provide leadership and management of the Technology department;
- Have responsibility for raising standards in quality of teaching and learning in the subject area;
- Be responsible for liaising with the school SLT and teachers, setting and working towards curriculum goals based on engagement and attainment;
- Be responsible for organising relevant CPD for your department;
- Commit to your own personal training and development.

- Are able to implement and deliver an inspiring curriculum in a vibrant learning environment;
- Have the ability and passion to motivate and make Technology interesting and relevant to pupils;
- Have high expectations and aspirations for all students;
