About Lycee International Victor Hugo - English 31

The Lycée International Victor Hugo is a mixed, non-denominational all-through school with sixth form situated in the commune of Colomiers in the city of Toulouse, south-western France. English 31, is an organisation that educates a total of over 410 students (5-18) and is integrated within the French Educational System across two schools - the Lycée itself and Lucie Aubrac, a local primary school. Teaching is entirely in English, but all students are at least bilingual in English and French. Students sit the Cambridge IGCSE and OIB diploma in English literature and language and history and geography.

English 31 was founded by parents of English language pupils in 1981 working for British Aerospace to give students weekly English lessons to let English-speaking children progress through the French school programme. Nowadays Airbus is the major sponsor as English 31 integrates many children from the company’s expatriates. For more information please consult English 31’s website: https://www.english31.org/ .
