Located in the vibrant community of Maidenhead, Berkshire, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to making a significant impact on our pupils' lives.

Your Role:

As the Head of Therapies, you will spearhead our therapy services, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Art Therapists. Your mission will be to drive the development, optimization, and innovation of our therapy services, aligning them closely with the school's objectives, ethos, and teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership to our dynamic therapy team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver exceptional, cost-effective services.
  • Be a key player in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization.
  • Oversee the financial and resource management within the therapies department.
  • Champion continuous professional development, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A master’s degree in a therapy-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Registration with the HCPC and a proven track record in a therapeutic school setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in operational management within therapies.
  • A deep commitment to inclusive education, ABA and a passion for working with pupils with SEN and Autism.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and inspire your team.

Forest Bridge School (FBS) is a new school for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder which opened in September 2015.  Offering a personalised curriculum with ABA methodologies we are a unique setting for advanced and early learners, alike.
