We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified individual with a highly successful teaching record, and an ability to lead, inspire a high-calibre team, and develop talented colleagues as The Head of Transition and Lower School.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Lower School, and oversees the pastoral welfare, academic progress, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students in MIV and UIV (Years 7 and 8). This role is key in supporting students and their parents in their transition to St Paul’s Girls’ School, and in promoting the values and ethos the school upholds.

The Head of Transition and Lower School will be looked up to, to promote a positive climate for students, and to support the head of year and form tutors develop a positive and inclusive environment for our pupils.

St Paul’s Girls’ School is one of the country’s leading independent secondary day schools for girls aged 11-18. Housed in a grade II listed building on Brook Green, close to Hammersmith, the school provides excellent facilities and a lively and stimulating teaching environment, matched by consistently outstanding exam results.
