For September 2020, Cheltenham College seeks to appoint a Head of Upper College. The Head of Upper College is responsible for the leadership, administration and development of the work ethos and close academic monitoring of all students in the Sixth Form.
Working closely with the Head of Careers and line-managing the Deputy Head of Upper College, the primary concern of the role is to ensure the College’s levels of achievement in Upper College continue to improve and the full academic potential of students is supported and fully developed. The Head of Upper College oversees the programme of Higher Education advice and application process.
Applicants must be willing to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College. Full details of the role can be found in the Job Description below.
The College has its own salary scale and this role will qualified for 20 additional ERA points (Extra Responsibility Allowance).
Though not a requirement for the role, the ability to teach English and/or Drama could be an advantage.
