Required from September 2018, a well-qualified and successful classroom practitioner to assume the pastoral leadership of Years 10 and 11. The school has a very effective pastoral support network which includes an excellent Inclusion Centre and an established House System. The Heads of School (Lower, Middle and Upper) are largely responsible for student’s attendance, behaviour and pastoral welfare and teach no more than a 50% timetable. Due to current vacancies applications from MFL, RE/History and PE teachers will be especially welcome, however applications from all subjects will be considered as what matters most to us is the right person for the job.

This is a great time to join our school as we have recently established a multi-academy trust with three of our feeder primary schools forming ‘The Minerva Learning Trust’. Results across the school at GCSE and A Level are very strong in both attainment and progress terms. We are a member of the PIXL Club and the Jurassic Schools Alliance and have several staff involved in national initiatives. We are a national lead school for the Edge Student Leadership Programme. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
