St Columba's are looking to recruit an energetic and proactive Head of Year who will be responsible for students' well-being and progress.  The Head of Year works with Form Tutors, members of the Senior Leadership Team , parents and carers and external agencies to support the learning and development of our students.

About St Columba's Catholic Boys' School

St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School is a mainstream,  Catholic secondary school in Bexleyheath, Kent. This state academy caters to boys aged 11 to 16 and has approximately 800 students.

St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School was founded on 7th May 1973. The lower and upper schools were combined in June 1990. In 2005, £5 million was spent on building the new John Paul II teaching block, which included a new sports hall. Since September 2006, the school has had specialist status in performing and visual arts. It has its own theatre and has achieved the Artsmark Gold award.

St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School aims to be an inclusive place of learning for everyone. It wants every member of the school community to feel unique, cared for and valued for their contributions. Teachers strive to challenge and support every student to reach their full potential. They work hard to get boys to actively participate in classes and to maintain a safe environment for every child to learn in. Equality is at the heart of the school’s values.

The extra-curricular activities available are varied and range from film club and basketball to choir and rugby.
