We are looking for a very special individual – someone who cares deeply about ensuring students have the best experience at school and they are well supported throughout their time with us. Every student deserves success at STFS! We believe in really knowing our students well and you will work with the year group during their time with us.

You’ll be supported by the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour, Culture & Safeguarding and supported by the pastoral assistant. We are keen to support with training and help you develop in the role.

Applicants from English, maths, computing are desirable. 

You will be able to build a positive ethos, drive high expectations and support those who need it the most. You will be able to communicate well with students, families and colleagues. You will model excellent practice in the classroom and guide and support your year group tutors. 

Sir Thomas Fremantle is set in North Buckinghamshire for 11-16 year olds serving the local community. The school is in easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. We benefit from great facilities – the school building was only opened in 2017.

We are driven to ensure all our students have an incredible education that inspires and prepares them for the next step in their journey. With 600 students we are able to really get to know each of them and our sense of community is a real strength of our school.

Sir Thomas Fremantle Secondary School is a mainstream mixed school, situated in Winslow, north Buckinghamshire. It caters to students aged 11-16 and has approximately 600 pupils enrolled. It is currently significantly over-subscribed.
