Head of Year

The Governors at Cornelius Vermuyden are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to lead and provide academic guidance and pastoral care for students in a whole year group from September 2018.

The post is ideally suited to an excellent communicator who is passionate about improving the life chances of young people.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a proven ability to lead by example and the ability to manage, inspire and motivate others in delivering high-quality teaching and learning supported by outstanding pastoral care. The successful candidate will support, hold to account and develop a team of tutors focusing on high standards of social, personal and academic development of students within their care.

The Cornelius Vermuyden School is an innovative and over-subscribed 11-16 school, situated in 38 acres of ground. We have a brand new building which includes state of the art facilities.
