This dimension brings a special sense of ‘family’ that is such a positive characteristic of our school. It also adds thriving competition and team-working, enabling boys to develop leadership skills and to learn from their older, aspirational peers as they strive together for the good of the house.
Coombe Boys’ is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11 – 18 school that is federated with its partner girls’ school to comprise the Coombe Secondary Schools Academies Trust, based in New Malden, Surrey. Coombe Boys’ has approximately 800 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.
Results at GCSE and in the Sixth Form are significantly above national averages and the School was graded Good with Outstanding Leadership & Management in its most recent Ofsted inspection (December 2013).
