Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a thriving community school with a healthy and open attitude to progress and change. The school is at an exciting stage of development, with an increasing sixth form and new buildings underway. We are looking to appoint a creative and organised Head of Year to join our hardworking and highly skilled team, the ability to teach Maths, Science or Humanities would be advantageous however applicants from all subject areas will be considered. Working alongside a team of dedicated Student Support Workers our Heads of Year are responsible for monitoring the academic progress of our students and ensuring that all students are supported on their academic and pastoral journey. Our student’s behaviour is exemplary and we have high expectations in behaviour, attainment and aspire for excellence in all aspects of our school life. There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities and opportunities for students to extend their learning.

For new colleagues you will enjoy a well-structured induction programme, followed by a continuous cycle of continued professional development opportunities, both internally and externally. We always seek to promote opportunities internally and colleagues will enjoy a warm and friendly team of dedicated specialists in school.
