The Role
The Governing Body seeks an inspirational and strategic leader who can build on the school’s strong foundations, champion its ethos and guide it confidently into the future. The successful candidate will:

· Lead a committed staff team and support professional growth across the school.
· Strengthen pupil recruitment and retention through positive community relationships.
· Ensure sustainable financial and operational management of the school.
· Represent the school with confidence and integrity, engaging positively with pupils, parents, alumni and external partners.
About You

About Rishworth School
Rishworth School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent day and boarding school situated in Rishworth, West Yorkshire. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes students from all faiths. There are approximately 450 pupils at Rishworth, between the ages of 3-19.
Rishworth School was established in 1724 by John Wheelwright in a small building, now used as the school’s chapel. The junior school, Heathfield opened in 1951. The school is set around 130 acres of parkland. It is a founder member of the Society of Headmasters for Independent Schools (SHMIS). Rishworth and Heathfield both offer an extensive range of learning facilities and share a swimming pool, performing arts centre and playing fields.
