An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PA to support the Head in every aspect of his role at King Edward VI School and to ensure the smooth running of the Head’s Office.  You will respond to phone calls, enquiries and requests in a manner that supports the Head and enhances the reputation of the school.  It is a diverse role that includes liaison with staff, senior leaders, parents and pupils and the organisation of key events such as Carol Service, Thanksgiving, concerts and Sports Day. 

You will be articulate, presentable, professional and personable in your approach and be skilled in building relationships. We are looking for an organised individual with excellent attention to detail. You will have experience of prioritising your workload in a busy environment. You will be a confident communicator and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities.  Experience of working in a school environment in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.

Please note, the hours for this role are 8.15am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.15am - 5.00pm Friday with one hour for lunch. There may be periods of time when additional hours are required to complete the necessary tasks.
