Queen’s College, Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the South West of the country, educating more than 600 boys and girls (day and boarding), aged 3 months to 18 years, and is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Queen’s College team. An excellent organiser and communicator is sought, to provide the Head of Prep with high quality, confidential support giving exemplary attention to detail. With outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, the successful applicant will be articulate and have a friendly, positive approach. Tasks will include diary management and liaison with internal stakeholders, as well as key external contacts. Queen’s College is committed to paperless working and digital efficiency will be key to the role. This role will rarely involve minute taking, although proactivity, flexibility and attention to detail will be required. This post is advertised as full time with greatly reduced working commitment during the school holidays. Part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Experience in a similar role, or of working in a school environment would be desirable.
