HEAD SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

Salary - Grade 6, Points 18 – 20 £28,582 - £29,539 (FTE £34,557 – £35,589)

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm, 32.5 hours per week

Term Time plus 14 days (40.8 weeks per year)

 

The school requires a suitable candidate with laboratory experience or a scientific background to manage our team of Science Technicians. The successful applicant will mainly be responsible for overseeing technical support within the Science Faculty for the 11–19 age range (knowledge of Physics would be an advantage).

Drayton Manor High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in London serving students between the ages of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Ealing as approximately 1,566 students on record. 

Formerly Drayton Manor Grammar School, Drayton Manor High School was established in 1930, changing to a comprehensive status in 1975. The secondary school converted to academy status in 2012 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in the same year.
