Lingfield College is seeking an outstanding and forward-thinking educational leader to become its next Head.
Located within 40 acres of beautiful countryside on the Surrey, Kent and Sussex borders, Lingfield College is a thriving independent co-educational day school for more than 900 pupils aged 6 months – 18 years. The School is widely recognised for its academic ambition, warm and inclusive culture, strong pastoral care, ambitious co-curricular programme and commitment to delivering an excellent all-round education. Founded in 1940, Lingfield has evolved into a modern and aspirational all-through school while retaining the kindness, grounded ethos and strong sense of community that continue to define it today. Recent years have seen significant investment in facilities, sport, pupil wellbeing and the broader educational experience, alongside continued focus on academic development and innovation.
Governors are now seeking a Head who can build upon these strong foundations and lead the School confidently into its next phase of development. The successful candidate will combine educational credibility with strategic vision, commercial awareness and the ability to inspire and unite a close-knit school community.

About Lingfield College
Lingfield College is a vibrant and highly successful independent day school for children aged 0–18 years. It is located in the Surrey countryside on the Kent and Sussex borders, just 30 minutes from London. With approximately 900 pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form, it is the ideal size; small enough that all pupils are known and valued as individuals, but large enough to offer fantastic facilities, a wide-ranging curriculum and extensive learning opportunities.
