Braeburn International Schools are co-educational schools situated in Kenya and Tanzania, offering the National Curriculum of England and Wales to students between the ages of 2 and 18 years.  Memberships include CIS, COBIS and IAPS.

The Group is looking to appoint:     

HEAD SWIMMING COACH    

A dynamic, experienced and energetic Head Swimming Coach is required for August 2017.

Applicants must have:

  • A University degree with a recognised teaching certification (QTS)
  • ASCA/WSCA Level 3 certification or higher
  • Lifesaving and first aid certification

The following would be an advantage:

Ten years or more of experience in swimming teaching or coaching
Management experience in Swim Program Management or related field
International coaching experience

This post provides an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and capable teacher to lead a well-established team of swimming teachers and coaches across nine campuses.  Braeburn Swimming is a highly competitive swim team who compete both nationally and internationally. Our program offers training for all levels of swimmers. Our advance team currently train eight sessions a week plus an additional six dry land sessions. Our dry land sessions are run by the strength and conditioning coaches in the gym on site at our Gitanga Road, Nairobi, Campus.

The successful candidate will receive a two year renewable contract, medical cover, membership of the school pension scheme, accommodation and a competitive local salary.
