An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated leader who has the drive and passion to make a difference for children.

Loirston School serves the Cove Bay area of Aberdeen, in the south of the city. Most of the local community consists of privately owned housing and there has been significant recent house developments being built.

The currently roll is approximately 330, plus a double nursery for up to 100 children. The proportion of pupils who are entitled to free school meals is well below the national average.

The school is currently part of the Kincorth Academy Associated Schools Group. However, construction of a £47 million replacement for Kincorth and Torry Academies has recently started. This new facility, situated close to the Loirston community, is scheduled to open in 2018.

If you have the necessary vision and enthusiasm to lead this successful school, we want to hear from you.
