Head Teacher

Recently rewarded with a “Good” OFSTED rating, the Governing Body of The Meadows Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated head teacher who will lead the school and its committed staff on our ongoing journey to Outstanding.

As an integral part of the school we also boast a highly respected and valued Speech and Language Resource Base with dedicated and highly skilled staff.

With a fantastic partial rebuild just completed, to accommodate our expanding numbers to a 3 form entry by Sept 2018: an exciting time lies ahead as the school embarks on the replacement of the remainder of the school so the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to influence the physical side of the school as well as the educational.

We seek someone who:

• can demonstrate the drive and desire to achieve and extend our goals
• has a clear vision which will build on existing good practices and further develop our strengths and successes
• has high expectations and makes a positive difference to every child
• has the ability to further develop our good relationships with all stakeholders and the local community
• will join in our drive to see our Speech and Language Resource Base recognised as a “centre of excellence”
