Co – Head Teachers required for Riverside Meadows Academy from January 2023. (Group 3 - special school L20 – 24 with scope for additional points for an exceptional candidate).

 

We are searching for two amazing Head Teachers for January 2023 to be Co – Head Teachers for our friendly and welcoming SEMH special school at St Neots and Wisbech sites for Riverside Meadows Academy.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for two inspirational and passionate leaders to work together to lead and develop our SEMH special school into the future and to prepare for the opening of a replacement building in Wisbech in July 2023 and a future de- amalgamation.


Riverside Meadows Academy is an SEMH special school for pupils aged 11 – 16 with some pupils with additional needs.  It is part of Horizons Education Trust and has a central team to support all schools within the Trust.

If you:

·        have the abilities to lead an SEMH special school as a Head Teacher and want to leave your unique footprint as part of a positive journey;

·        have strong leadership and management skills either as an existing Head Teacher, Head of School or someone who has extensive Leadership experience of SEMH in another leadership role and has NPQH;

·        have the ability to further develop a clear vision with the current leadership team, staff, parents and governors.

·        Motivated by collaboration and ethical leadership to work with the other special schools in the MAT for Horizons Education Trust and other special schools locally and within region.

·        Desire to support the longer - term future of the Trust and to able to provide a strategic vision for SEMH based on evidence - based practice.
