Raintree is an international school offering a bespoke integrated English/Chinese early childhood programme for children aged 1.5 to 5 years old.  Our brand new and purposely designed school, scheduled for official opening in August 2017, is ideally located in the heart of Bangkok (Thailand) in a high end residential area and within 5 minutes drive of the CBD and diplomatic district.  Our advisory board consists of widely recognised and well respected University of Oxford/Cambridge Alumni who are passionate about education and committed to the highest standards and positively impacting the surrounding community. 

Seeking Founding Head Teacher/ EY Teachers

Raintree International School seeks a passionate, dynamic and experienced Head Teacher to start a journey with a brand new school.  The Head Teacher will be responsible for establishing, leading, and maintaining a high quality learning centre within a new team and environment.   A strong focus on child-centred learning and sound knowledge of play-based enquiry learning theories is essential for this role.  You will need to be proactive and able to select, lead and motivate your team.  You will be given a unique opportunity and support to work with a dedicated but flexible team to lead the establishment of the school and to select your own team to ensure highest standards are achieved.  Early years class teacher positions are also available with similar offerings.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education/ Early Childhood Studies or equivalent
  • At least 5 years leadership experience
  • Sound knowledge and experience in working with guidelines provided by EYFS and Reggio Emilia approach
  • Commitment to continued professional development
  • English language fluent speakers only
  • Working experience in Asia and in multi-lingual schools will be given special consideration
