Bettridge School are seeking a Head Teacher who can inspire, motivate and lead our school and build on our relationships with parents and staff to ensure all aspects of a child or young person’s needs are identified and met.

Bettridge is a community special school based in Cheltenham with 148 pupils currently on roll. We provide an individualised, creative and exciting learning pathway for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 within a safe and supportive environment. All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or are being assessed for an EHCP. Most pupils have severe or profound learning difficulties.

Bettridge is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment. The school follows safe recruitment practices to protect children. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.
