Mount Pleasant is a successful Primary School based in Lockwood, Huddersfield. It is a large Primary School, currently graded good by Ofsted, and will within the next year move into a brand new school building.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Head Teacher who possesses strong drive and enthusiasm and who can sustain and develop the school’s significant progress over recent years

The successful candidate must:

• Be dynamic, creative and passionate about the continued success of the school
• Inspire staff, pupils, parents and partners through leading by example
• Support colleagues to ensure that teaching and learning strategies continually develop to get the very best out of every pupil
• Be able to ensure that the school plays an active and visible part in its community
• Be able to build upon the school’s well established ethos based upon harmonious relationships and an ambition to help everyone explore and achieve their potential.
