Nova Education Trust is seeking a Head Teacher to provide vision and dynamic and professional leadership for Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology (NUAST).
Established in 2011, Nova Education Trust has successfully supported schools of all phases to secure improved educational standards.
Our family is currently made up of 15 academies (five primaries, nine secondaries and one sixth form college). In 2019, we entered into a long-term support partnership with Madani Schools Federation in Leicester to work with their two schools.

As Head Teacher at Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology, you will provide professional leadership and management of the school while upholding ambitious educational standards which prepare pupils from all backgrounds for their next phase of education and life.
You will inspire, challenge, and motivate all members of the school community to carry the school’s mission, vision, and values forward. Additionally, you will promote excellence, equality, and high expectations of all students through an inclusive and ambitious curriculum.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of successful secondary school senior leadership, able to evidence experience in planning and leading whole-school improvement and initiatives and policies.
You will have demonstrable experience in successfully raising standards and consistently improving student progress and outcomes while serving in a Head Teacher position.
Self-motivated, with high expectations for yourself and those around you, you will have the skills and ability to empower both students and staff, enabling them to contribute to the vision and achieve their full potential.
